With wash and iron, every garment is professionally pressed using commercial steam equipment before being returned on hangers or crisply folded. Ironing is charged per item on top of the $5.50/kg wash — from $2.75 for kids clothes and pillowcases, $3.41 for t-shirts and trousers, through to $4.17 for business shirts and blouses. Collars sit flat, pleats hold their shape, and fabric looks smooth without the shiny patches that come from pressing too hard with a home iron.

Choose wash and fold if your laundry is mostly casual wear and you want the most affordable option. Choose wash and iron if you need work shirts, school uniforms, trousers, or dresses looking crisp and professional. Many of our customers use both — casual clothes through wash and fold, work wardrobe through wash and iron. It keeps costs reasonable while ensuring the garments that matter look their best.

How We Care for Pressed Garments

Not all fabrics respond the same way to heat and steam, and getting this wrong is how clothes end up with scorch marks or that flat, overworked look. Our team sorts garments by fabric type before pressing:

• Cotton shirts and blouses get high steam at the right temperature to achieve that crisp, professional finish
• Linen is pressed while still slightly damp for the best results, with attention to collars, cuffs, and plackets
• Polyester blends need lower heat to avoid melting fibres or creating permanent shine marks
• Wool trousers and skirts are pressed with a cloth barrier and steam to maintain the nap of the fabric

Weekly Scheduling for Work Wardrobes

You put your worn work clothes from the previous week into a bag over the weekend, we collect Monday, and everything comes back pressed and ready to wear by midweek. Some customers prefer a split — collecting twice a week for a smaller, faster turnaround.

Pair this with our pick up and delivery and you won't even need to think about it. Leave the bag by the door, and your pressed clothes appear back on the same doorstep 48 hours later. It becomes part of your routine the same way the bins go out on Tuesday night.
