Laundry Service in Logan, Ipswich and Brisbane South

If you live anywhere in South East Queensland and you have ever stared at a mountain of laundry on a Sunday afternoon, you already know the feeling. Between work, school runs, weekend sport and just keeping the house together, laundry is one of those chores that never actually ends. It just grows. And for families across Logan, Ipswich and Brisbane South, finding a reliable laundry service that actually comes to your door has been harder than it should be.
That is exactly why Fresh Folds exists. We are a local laundry service built for the suburbs of South East Queensland, and we handle the washing, drying and folding so you can get your weekends back. No trips to the laundromat. No fighting over who forgot to hang out the load. Just fresh, clean clothes delivered back to your door.
Why More SEQ Residents Are Choosing Professional Laundry
A few years ago, using a laundry service felt like a luxury. Something for hotels or people with more money than time. But the reality has shifted. The cost of running a washing machine and dryer at home keeps climbing. Water prices across South East Queensland have gone up. Energy costs have jumped. And the hours you spend sorting, washing, drying, folding and ironing each week add up to a full working day every month.
For a lot of families around Logan and Ipswich, outsourcing the laundry is not about being lazy. It is about being practical. Two working parents, kids in multiple sports, shift workers who barely get a day off together. When you calculate the real cost of doing laundry at home (water, power, detergent, machine wear and your time), it starts making a lot of sense to let someone else handle it.
We have seen this firsthand. Over the past year, the number of households booking regular wash and fold services with us has grown steadily. People are not just trying it once. They are setting up weekly pickups because it genuinely makes life easier.
The Areas We Cover
Fresh Folds services a large part of South East Queensland, and we are always expanding. Our core coverage includes suburbs right across the Logan, Ipswich and Brisbane South corridors. If you live in one of the areas below, we can get to you.
Logan Suburbs
Logan is our home base, and we cover it thoroughly. From Jimboomba in the south to Marsden and Crestmead in the north, and across to Springfield Lakes in the west. We also service Park Ridge, Greenbank, New Beith, Flagstone, Beenleigh, Browns Plains, Boronia Heights, Regents Park and more. Logan is a huge area, and there are a lot of growing families out here who need laundry support. We get it, and we are set up to cover the distance.
Ipswich Suburbs
The Ipswich corridor has boomed over the past decade, especially around Springfield and Ripley. New estates are popping up everywhere, and with them come thousands of new households all dealing with the same laundry problem. We service Springfield, Ripley, Redbank Plains, Goodna, Augustine Heights and surrounds. If you are out that way, we come to you.
Brisbane South
On the Brisbane side, we cover Sunnybank, Calamvale, Algester, Runcorn, Eight Mile Plains, Kuraby and nearby suburbs. These are busy areas full of working professionals and families, and our laundry service fits right into that lifestyle.
What Services Are Available
We keep things simple. You do not need to figure out complicated service tiers or hidden add-ons. Here is what we offer:
Wash and Fold
Our most popular service. We collect your dirty laundry, sort it by colour and fabric type, wash it using quality detergents, dry it, and fold it neatly. It comes back to you ready to put straight in the cupboard. Our wash and fold service is priced at $5.50 per kilogram with a $60 minimum order. Most family loads sit around 8 to 12 kilograms, so you are looking at roughly $44 to $66 for the washing itself.
Wash and Iron
Need your clothes pressed as well? Our wash and iron service adds professional ironing to the mix. This is popular with people who need work shirts, school uniforms and business wear looking sharp. Ironing is an additional $5.50 per kilogram on top of the wash and fold price, so the total comes to $11 per kilogram.
Pick Up and Delivery
This is the part that makes everything convenient. You do not have to drop anything off or pick anything up. We come to your door, collect your laundry, and bring it back clean and folded. Our pick up and delivery service runs across all our service areas with a flat $12.50 delivery fee per trip. Contactless options are available too, so you do not even need to be home.
How It All Works
The process is straightforward and designed to take as little of your time as possible.
Step 1: Book your pickup. Get in touch through our website, give us a call, or send a text. Choose a day and time slot that works for you. Morning, afternoon or evening slots are available Monday to Saturday.
Step 2: We collect. Our driver arrives at your door and picks up your laundry. You can leave it on the porch, in the garage, or hand it over in person. We use reusable laundry bags to keep things organised and reduce waste.
Step 3: We wash, dry and fold. Your laundry is sorted, washed with quality detergents, dried (tumble or line dry based on your preference), and neatly folded. If you have added ironing, that gets done too.
Step 4: We return. Your fresh, clean laundry is delivered back to your door, usually within 24 hours of collection. Standard turnaround is next day, and we also offer same-day express if you book early enough.
Pricing at a Glance
We believe in transparent pricing with no surprises:
- Wash and Fold: $5.50 per kg
- Ironing: $5.50 per kg (added to wash price for wash and iron)
- Delivery: $12.50 flat fee per trip
- Minimum order: $60
For a typical family load of around 10 to 12 kilograms, you are looking at about $55 to $66 for wash and fold, plus $12.50 for delivery. That is less than what most people spend per week on takeaway coffee. And you get hours of your life back.
Benefits for Busy Local Families and Workers
The people who use our service the most are not a particular type. They are parents juggling school pickups and after-school activities. They are shift workers at the hospitals and warehouses around Logan. They are tradies coming home covered in dust with no energy left to sort whites from darks. They are older residents who find the physical side of laundry harder than it used to be.
What they all have in common is that they value their time and want things done properly. A professional laundry service gives you back those five to seven hours a week that you would otherwise spend on laundry. That is time you can spend with your kids, at the gym, resting after a long shift, or just sitting down with a cup of tea without a basket of unfolded washing staring at you from the couch.
There is also the quality factor. Our commercial-grade machines handle larger loads more effectively than most home washing machines. We use high-quality detergents that are tough on stains but gentle on fabrics. Your towels come back fluffier. Your shirts come back crisper. And your socks actually come back in pairs.
Eco-Friendly and Efficient Washing
One thing we hear from a lot of customers is that they feel guilty about the water and energy their household machines use, especially during Queensland summers when restrictions can come into play. Our commercial-grade equipment is designed to be far more water-efficient and energy-efficient than standard domestic machines. We process larger loads in fewer cycles, which means less water used per kilogram of clothing. The detergents we use are eco-friendly and biodegradable, so they are kinder on the local waterways and your skin.
We also optimise our delivery routes to reduce fuel consumption and carbon output. By batching pickups and deliveries within the same suburbs on the same day, we keep our vehicles on the road for less time while still hitting every time window. It is a small thing, but it adds up when you are running routes through Jimboomba, Park Ridge and Springfield Lakes every week.
Regular Pickups Make It Even Easier
One of the best things about our service is the ability to schedule regular pickups. Instead of booking each time, you set up a weekly or fortnightly collection and we just show up. Same day, same time, every week. Your laundry gets taken care of on autopilot, and you barely have to think about it.
This is especially handy for families with kids. You know Monday is always a disaster after the weekend. So you set a Tuesday morning collection, and by Wednesday afternoon everything is back clean and folded. Simple.
Regular customers also tell us the consistency makes a real difference. We learn your preferences over time. If you always want your towels line dried, or your kids school shirts on hangers, we remember. The service gets more tailored the longer you stick with it, and that is something a laundromat simply cannot offer.
