Laundry Pick Up and Delivery in South East Queensland

There are a lot of things to love about South East Queensland. The weather, the lifestyle, the space. But one thing nobody loves is spending their Saturday morning knee-deep in laundry. Between the sorting, the washing, the drying, the folding, and the inevitable re-washing of that load you forgot in the machine overnight, laundry eats into your week more than most people realise. That is where laundry pick up and delivery changes everything.

Fresh Folds offers a pick up and delivery laundry service designed specifically for households across Logan, Ipswich and Brisbane South. We come to your door, take your dirty laundry away, wash and fold it properly, and bring it back fresh and clean. No driving to a laundromat. No waiting around for machines. No baskets of clean clothes sitting on the couch for three days because nobody got around to folding them.

How Pick Up and Delivery Laundry Works

The whole point of this service is to make laundry as hands-off as possible for you. Here is exactly what happens from start to finish.

Step 1: Book Your Collection

You get in touch with us through our website, by phone, or via text message. Pick a collection day and a time slot that suits your schedule. We run pickups Monday through Saturday, and we offer morning, afternoon and evening windows so you can work around your commitments. If you want to set up a recurring weekly collection, we can lock that in too, so you never have to think about booking again.

Step 2: Leave Your Laundry Out

On collection day, gather up your dirty laundry and place it in a bag or basket by your front door, on the porch, in the garage, or wherever is easiest for you. You do not need to be home. We offer fully contactless pick up, so you can head off to work or take the kids to school and know that your laundry will be collected while you are out.

If you have any special instructions (cold wash only for certain items, keep colours separate, avoid tumble drying for a particular garment), just pop a note in the bag or mention it when you book. We read every instruction and follow it.

Step 3: We Wash, Dry and Fold

Once we have your laundry, we sort everything by colour and fabric type. We use commercial-grade washing machines and quality detergents that are effective on stains but still gentle enough for sensitive skin. Your clothes are dried according to your preference (tumble dry or line dry) and then neatly folded, with socks paired and small items handled individually. If you have booked our wash and fold service, everything comes back ready to put straight into the cupboard.

Step 4: We Deliver It Back

Your clean, fresh laundry is returned to your door in reusable bags. Standard turnaround is 24 hours from collection. We send you a notification when our driver is on the way, so you know exactly when to expect your delivery. Same contactless option applies for drop-off. We leave it in your nominated safe spot if you are not around.

Where We Pick Up and Deliver

We cover a wide area across South East Queensland. Our routes are designed to service the suburbs where people actually need this kind of help, and we are always adding new areas as demand grows.

In the Logan region, we service suburbs including Marsden, Beenleigh, Flagstone, Jimboomba, Greenbank, New Beith, Park Ridge, Springfield Lakes, Browns Plains, Crestmead, Boronia Heights and more.

In the Ipswich corridor, we cover Springfield, Ripley, Redbank Plains, Augustine Heights, Goodna and surrounding areas. The Springfield and Ripley growth corridors have brought thousands of new families into the area, and our service is designed to support them.

On the Brisbane South side, we service Sunnybank, Calamvale, Algester, Runcorn, Eight Mile Plains, Kuraby and nearby suburbs.

Not sure if we cover your suburb? Get in touch and ask. Chances are we do, or we are about to.

What to Expect on Collection Day

Collection day is meant to be stress-free. Here is what a typical pickup looks like so you know what to expect.

Our driver will arrive during your chosen time window. If you are home, they will knock or ring the bell and collect your bag from you directly. If you are not home, they will pick it up from the spot you nominated when booking. Most of our customers leave their bag on the front porch, by the side gate, or just inside the garage.

We use branded, reusable laundry bags to keep things tidy and identifiable. If you have your own bags or baskets, that is fine too. We will bring everything back in the same container you send it in, or in our Fresh Folds bags if you prefer.

You will receive a confirmation message when your laundry has been collected, and another notification when it is on its way back. No guessing, no chasing.

Turnaround Times

Our standard turnaround is 24 hours from collection. If we pick your laundry up on Tuesday morning, it will be back at your door by Wednesday morning. This works well for most households and means you are never without your clothes for long.

We also offer a same-day express service for those times when you need things done faster. To qualify for same-day return, your laundry needs to be collected before 9 AM. This is handy for last-minute situations like unexpected guests, a work event you forgot about, or just a week where everything piled up at once.

If you are booking a larger order or something with special care requirements (like delicates or heavy bedding), turnaround may extend slightly. We will always let you know the expected return time when we collect.

Contactless Pick Up and Delivery

A lot of our customers love the contactless option, and it has become one of the most popular features of our service. Here is how it works:

When you book, you nominate a safe spot for collection and delivery. Common choices include the front porch, beside the front door, under a carport, inside an unlocked garage, or by the side gate. Our driver collects from and returns to that spot without needing to knock or interact with anyone.

This is particularly useful for shift workers who might be sleeping during the day, parents with napping babies, people working from home who do not want to be interrupted, or anyone who simply prefers a no-fuss experience. You get a text when the laundry is collected and another when it is returned. That is all the interaction required.

How Much Does Delivery Cost?

Delivery is a flat $12.50 fee per trip. That covers both the pick up and the return. There are no distance surcharges, no fuel levies, and no hidden extras. The delivery fee is the same whether you live in Marsden (ten minutes from our base) or Jimboomba (further out in the Logan hinterland).

On top of the delivery fee, you pay for the laundry service itself. Our wash and fold is $5.50 per kilogram, with a $60 minimum order. So a typical week for a family of four might look something like this:

  • 10 kg of laundry at $5.50/kg = $55.00
  • Rounded up to the $60.00 minimum
  • Delivery fee = $12.50
  • Total = $72.50

For that price, you get every piece of clothing in your household washed, dried, folded and returned to your door. When you think about the water, electricity, detergent and hours of your own time that would cost to do at home, $72.50 is genuinely good value.

Setting Up Regular Pickups

The real magic of this service kicks in when you set up a regular schedule. Instead of booking a one-off pickup each week, you lock in a recurring collection day and time. We show up automatically. You just have your bag ready, and the rest takes care of itself.

Most of our regular customers go with a weekly pickup. Some busy households with kids or shift workers book twice a week. Others do fortnightly if their laundry volume is lower. We are flexible and happy to adjust your schedule as your needs change.

Regular customers also benefit from consistency. We get to know your preferences over time. If you like your towels folded a certain way, or you always want your work shirts on hangers, we remember. It gets better and more tailored the longer you use the service.

Who Uses Pick Up and Delivery Laundry?

The short answer is: all sorts of people. But the most common groups we see are:

  • Busy families with young kids who simply do not have the hours to keep up with the laundry volume.
  • Shift workers (nurses, warehouse staff, emergency services) who work irregular hours and need flexibility.
  • Work-from-home professionals who want to reclaim time without the constant background noise of a running washing machine.
  • Older residents who find the lifting, bending and carrying involved in laundry physically difficult.
  • Small business owners who need regular cleaning for towels, uniforms or linen without managing it themselves.

Whatever your reason, the result is the same. You get clean laundry without lifting a finger.
